Use the Right-click:-

Make the most of the right click whenever you highlight text or want to see the features of an item. For example, if you highlight a file or text, you can right-click on the highlighted item, copy, and then right-click and paste it.

  • Bonus Tip:-
If you highlight or select a file or text and then hold and right-click the mouse, it appears when you give the option to move or copy the file. This saves you the extra step of right-clicking where you want to paste your item.

  • Bonus Tip:-
In any browser, clicking and holding Ctrl while clicking on any link opens a menu with options for this link.

Select with Double and Triple Click:-

Any word can be selected by double clicking on the word. If you want to highlight the entire paragraph or phrase, click the mouse button three times on any word. Try it out on this word by clicking on any word three times faster in the paragraph.

  • Bonus Tip:-
If you double-click and move your mouse, it will highlight one word at a time.

Take full advantage of the Scroll Wheel:-

Today, everyone is familiar with the ability of a mouse wheel that has the ability to scroll down and down on a page. However, this wheel can also do a lot, below are just a few examples.

  • The mouse wheel is not just the wheels. It can also be used as a button. Pressing the wheel on the wheel will act like the third mouse button. The wheel button can be used to open a webpage in a tab by clicking the wheel on any link and clicking on the wheel on any open tab can also be used to close the tab.
  • Zoom in on web pages, word documents, excel spreadsheets and more.by holding down the Ctrl key and scrolling up to zoom in and down to zoom out.
  • Press the shift key to return to the previous web page and scroll down in most Internet browsers.
  • Some mouse wheels can also be pressed left or right to move back and forth between web pages.

Shift key and Mouse Click:-

Many text editors and programs allow you to shift and highlight all or part of the text using the mouse. For example, click the start of text in the text box below. Press the Shift key, scroll to the bottom, and click the text end to highlight all text.

  • Bonus Tip:-
Pressing Alt while dragging and highlighting the text in the text editor allows you to selectively highlight the text. This way it is useful to highlight the text if the paragraph or other text is in a column. Note: This gesture does not work in the box above and it has to be done in a text editor or word processor.

Ctrl key and Mouse Click or Highlight:-

Holding the CTRL key, you can press left to select multiple items or highlight multiple sections of text. For example, in the selection box below, if you want to highlight more than one of the items listed, you can hold down Ctrl and select each item you want to highlight.

  • Bonus Tip:-
Mozilla Firefox users can hold the CTRL key and click on each cell individually in the table they want to copy. They can also drag their mouse down a row by holding down the CTRL key, without selecting any text in this table.

Use the Mouse Side Buttons:-

Many newer computer mice also have mouse-side buttons. These buttons can be programmed to do anything. However, by default, the left thumb button can be used to return to the web page. Using the thumb button makes the Internet browsing more efficient, since you do not need to move the mouse cursor to the browser's back arrow button.

Use the Windows Snap To Feature:-

Take full advantage of the Windows Mouse Snap-in feature, which will automatically move your mouse to the buttons that appear in the dialog box. For example, if you delete a file or close a window, you may be prompted to ask if you really want to do the job. With Snap-to-feature enabled, the mouse cursor automatically moves to the OK button, so if you are pleased you have to click the left mouse button. This saves you time by moving the mouse cursor to the OK button and then clicking OK.

To enable this feature, open Mouse Properties under the Windows Control Panel and check the Snap-to-check box under the Pointer Options tab.

  • Bonus Tip:-
When changing this feature, we recommend looking at other available options in mouse features. For example, increasing the speed of motion can also be helpful in increasing your productivity using the mouse.

Manage the Open Window with the Mouse:-

Double-click on any window's top title bar to maximize the window or, if it is already maximized, change it to a smaller window. You can also double click on the window icon in the upper left corner of the window to close this window.

Move the Mouse with your Keyboard:-

Instead of using the mouse that comes with your computer, you can also enable Windows to use the number pad like a mouse.

Customize your Mouse:-

Finally, if you have more than two buttons with a mouse, installing the software included in the mouse will make the mouse even more customized. For example, if you don't use the side buttons to navigate back and forth between a web page, change it to something you do often, such as switching between open windows or opening a calculator.
