How to Install a Second Hard Drive on Windows 10 | Install and Activate a Second Hard Drive on PC
This video will show you how to install and set up a second hard drive (HHD or SSD) on Windows 10. It's quite an easy process, what you need to do is: 1. Click on the Windows start icon and search for "Disk Management" and then open the Disk Management tool. 2. Scroll down to the new Hard Drive disc which you want to install, right click on it and select "New Simple Volume". This should launch the New Simple Volume setup. 3. Click on "Next", then "Next" again 4. In the next screen, you will assign a certain letter for your new Disk Drive - from A to Z. Choose whichever letter you prefer, and then select "Next". 5. In the "Format Partition" screen, you want to leave all options at default except the "Volume label" option, where you can assign a name for new Hard Drive. Once you've chosen a name, click on "Next". 6. Click on Finish. 7. It should take a couple of seconds for Windows to install your new hard drive. Once finished, you will get a notification that your new hard drive has been installed.
